Evergreen Driving School

Evergreen Motorcycle Safety Training launched in the early 1990s with a single training range and a small fleet of motorcycles at what was then the Sand Point Naval Base. The program was created by its parent organization, Evergreen Safety Council, as an extension of its services. Evergreen Safety Council is guided by a clear mission: “To prevent accidental deaths and injuries by being a resource for safety training, consulting, and information for businesses and citizens of Washington State and the Greater Northwest. To support related programs and legislative action that would improve safety in the workplace, on the highway, at home, and at play.” From day one, Evergreen Motorcycle Training has been deeply committed to that mission. Today, the motorcycle safety program has grown to include 7 training ranges at 5 locations across King County. Students train on a fleet of over 100 motorcycles, as well as 5 sidecar rigs, 2 trikes, and 5 CanAm Spyders. The program is backed by a dedicated team of professional instructors, each certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation for two‑wheel training and by the Sidecar/Trike Education Program (S/TEP) for three‑wheel instruction. Evergreen believes that giving new riders the right street strategies and safe riding techniques from the very beginning makes the roads safer for motorcyclists and the public alike.
