Overview
Commercial Driver School™ is a privately owned CDL training provider with four convenient campuses across Washington state.
Instructors at Commercial Driver School™ are experienced commercial drivers who deliver clear, practical classroom and behind-the-wheel training to students pursuing or renewing their Class A, B, or C CDLs. To fit busy schedules, new classes start nearly every week, with both day and evening sessions available Monday through Friday.
Through partnerships with respected industry employers, Commercial Driver School™ provides ongoing job placement assistance, helping graduates confidently connect with local and regional trucking opportunities.
This student-focused approach has made Commercial Driver School™ one of the fastest-growing and most respected CDL training programs in the country. Co-owners Victor and Petra Ratz credit this success to a dedicated professional team guided by four core principles:
1. Authentic human connections always come first. While technology and efficient systems are valuable, they should never replace accessible, meaningful interactions with students, staff, and partners.
2. Diversity drives innovation. Valuing different people, cultures, and perspectives helps the organization solve complex challenges and maintain a competitive edge.
3. Strong leadership requires consistent communication of company values. Leaders actively empower staff to use these principles as a guide for daily decisions and actions.
4. Employees thrive when they are challenged, mentored, valued, and recognized for their contributions. The school fosters a supportive culture where reasonable mistakes become learning opportunities and continuous professional growth remains a priority.
