  • License Testing

    Road Scholar Driving School is authorized to administer the Dept. of Licensing Knowledge Tests. The KNOWLEDGE TEST constists of 40 muliple choice questions about safety laws. Applicants must answer 32 questions correctly to pass (a score of 80%). The test is provided to us by the Dept. of Licensing. To prepare for the knowledge test study the Washington Driver Guide at the Department of Licensing website or pick up a guide at any Dept. of Licensing office (on Wynne St. in Colville).We offer the Knowledge Test in English, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.

  • Drive Test

    When you are ready to schedule the test, call the office 684-3164. Please have your WA State permit, license or ID number handy so we can look your information up on the state database.

  • Driver Education Classes

    Driver Education Classes are a minimum of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction. In Washington State you must pass a driver education course to acquire a drivers license before the age of 18.

  • Individual Instruction

    If you already have a learner permit or driver license and just need to brush up on your driving skills before taking the drive test, feel free to schedule a one-on-one lesson with one our great instructors. These lessons are ideal for adults as well as teens.
