AA Driving Academy

Description Since opening our doors in 1994, AA Driving Academy has had one goal: to teach you safe, responsible, and accountable driving. To date, we have trained, licensed, and improved the driving of 70,000 student drivers who have graduated from our academy. We offer a range of services to meet your driving needs, specializing in collision-free, defensive driving techniques. Combined with a solid grounding in classroom theory, our approach gives students a strong foundation to understand road rules and regulations thoroughly. Services include behind-the-wheel training, driver improvement courses, reckless/aggressive driving courses, driver education, and re-examination courses. Some of our instructors are active and retired police officers with years of extensive training in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving methods, collision investigation, and traffic court proceedings. All of our instructors have many years of driving instruction experience, professional training, and are college graduates. They have also completed specialized collegiate-level training in driver education. Each is licensed as a Driver Training Instructor by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, certified by the American Automobile Association and National Safety Council, and undergoes annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits. Our school is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
