AA Driving Academy

Since 1994, AA Driving Academy has been dedicated to one mission: teaching safe, responsible, and accountable driving. Over 70,000 student drivers have graduated from our program, each equipped with the skills to navigate the road confidently and defensively. We offer a full range of services to meet your driving needs, all built around collision-free, defensive driving techniques. Our classroom theory gives you a solid understanding of the rules of the road, while behind-the-wheel training and specialized courses—including driver improvement, reckless/aggressive driving, driver education, and re-examination prep—prepare you for real-world situations. Our instructors bring exceptional experience to every lesson. Some are active or retired police officers with extensive backgrounds in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving, collision investigation, and court proceedings. All instructors are college graduates with professional training and specialized collegiate-level education in driver education. They are licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, certified by the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council, and undergo annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits.
