Overview

Description Abigail's Driving School is the only driving school in the Richmond, Virginia area that offers instruction in both English and Spanish. Our courses teach everything you need to drive safely and earn the certification required to obtain your driver's license. We're built for busy lives: we offer flexible weekday classes that most other schools don't. Over the past five years, we've trained drivers of all types—from new, young drivers and speed-prone drivers to career drivers, parents, and habitual traffic offenders—along with many other students from diverse backgrounds. We're prepared to train drivers at any skill level. Abigail's Driving School is fully authorized, bonded, insured, and certified by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.

  • 36 Hr Classroom Periods

    Virginia requires students younger than 18 years of age who are home schooled or have not taken the course in high school to complete 36 - fifty-minute classroom course instruction before taking the behind the wheel class. To pass the classroom portion of the driver education course, a minimum score of 80% is required. Driver education classes are held on Monday - Saturdays (between 4pm-6pm) with flexible hours to accomodate parents/guardians. The class lasts four - five weeks depending on the student's school/extracular activities schedule.

  • Behind the Wheel (Student)

    Students under 18 years of age are required to complete 14, 50-minute periods of behind the wheel training. This includes seven sessions driving and seven sessions observing. Each class will be two periods. You will need your learners permit to take this class. Behind the wheel classes are scheduled between Monday - Saturday. Abigail's Driving School provides behind the wheel lessons on evenings and weekends. We also provide additional behind the wheel through a partnership with trusted schools in the Richmond area.

  • Behind the Wheel (Non-Student)
