Overview

Since 1999, CDS Tractor Trailer Training has been preparing drivers for rewarding careers on the road. With four training centers throughout Virginia and a team that provides CDL training for 10 Virginia Community Colleges, we are the region’s fastest-growing professional driver training school. We focus on delivering the highest-quality instruction at an affordable price—and it shows. Dozens of local, regional, and national trucking companies regularly hire our graduates. Your training starts in the classroom, where you will learn equipment fundamentals, rules of the road, state and federal regulations, and vehicle inspection procedures. This foundation is designed to help you succeed on the required exams and build the knowledge every professional driver needs. After the classroom phase, you will take the CDL permit test, a written exam administered by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
