Overview

Since 1999, CDS Tractor Trailer Training has been preparing students for successful careers as professional truck drivers. With four training centers across Virginia, we are the region’s fastest-growing driver school and provide CDL instruction for ten Virginia Community Colleges. We focus on delivering high-quality education at an affordable price, which is why our graduates are regularly hired by local, regional, and national trucking companies. Training begins in the classroom, where you will learn the fundamentals of truck equipment, road safety, state and federal regulations, and proper vehicle inspection procedures. This coursework prepares you for the knowledge exams required to become a licensed commercial driver. Once classroom instruction is complete, students take the Virginia DMV’s written permit exam and move forward with hands-on driving training.
