AA Driving Academy

At AA Driving Academy, our mission since 1994 has been simple: teach safe, responsible, and accountable driving. Over the years, we’ve trained, licensed, and improved the skills of more than 70,000 student drivers. We provide a full range of services tailored to your needs, specializing in collision-free, defensive driving techniques. Our program pairs hands-on behind-the-wheel training with a solid classroom foundation, giving you a deep understanding of the road, rules, and regulations. Along with standard driver education, we offer driver improvement courses, reckless and aggressive driving courses, and re-examination preparation. Our instructors bring exceptional real-world experience. Some are active or retired police officers with extensive backgrounds in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving, collision investigation, and traffic court. Every instructor has years of driving-instruction experience, professional training, and a college education — including specialized collegiate-level coursework in driver education. They hold licenses from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, are certified by the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council, and undergo annual FBI background checks and DMV driving-record audits.
