AA Driving Academy

Since opening our doors in 1994, AA Driving Academy has had one goal: to teach you safe, responsible, and accountable driving. Over the years, we’ve trained and licensed more than 70,000 student drivers, helping each one become a more confident, collision-free driver. We offer a full range of services to meet your driving needs. Our specialty is defensive, collision-free driving instruction backed by a solid foundation of classroom theory — so you’ll thoroughly understand road rules, regulations, and the skills to stay safe. Services include behind-the-wheel training, driver improvement courses, reckless/aggressive driving courses, driver education, and re-examination courses. Our instructors bring unmatched real-world experience to every lesson. Some are active or retired police officers with extensive training in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving methods, collision investigation, and traffic court proceedings. Every instructor has years of driving-instruction experience, professional training, and a college education, including specialized collegiate-level coursework in driver education. All are licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, certified by the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council, and undergo annual FBI background checks and DMV driving-record audits. AA Driving Academy is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
