Overview

Since 1999, CDS Tractor Trailer Training has been preparing professional truck drivers across Virginia. As the region’s fastest-growing driving school, we operate four training centers and deliver CDL coursework for ten Virginia Community Colleges. We are committed to providing high-quality instruction at an affordable price, which is why dozens of local, regional, and national trucking companies actively hire our graduates. Your training begins in the classroom, where you will learn the fundamentals of commercial equipment, traffic laws, state and federal regulations, and vehicle inspection procedures. This coursework gives you the essential knowledge required to pass your written exams, including the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles’ CDL permit test. Successfully completing the permit exam is your first official step toward becoming a licensed commercial driver.
