AA Driving Academy

Since opening in 1994, AA Driving Academy has focused on a single goal: teaching safe, responsible, and accountable driving. To date, we have proudly trained, licensed, and improved the driving skills of 70,000 student drivers.

We offer a range of services designed to meet your specific driving needs. By combining behind-the-wheel training with comprehensive classroom instruction, we give students a strong foundation in traffic laws, road rules, and defensive driving techniques. Our programs include driver education, driver improvement, reckless and aggressive driving courses, and re-examination preparation.

Our instructors bring exceptional real-world experience to every lesson. Many are active or retired law enforcement officers with extensive backgrounds in traffic enforcement, emergency vehicle operation, crash investigation, and traffic court proceedings. Every instructor is a college graduate with specialized collegiate training in driver education and years of professional teaching experience. All are licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and certified by both the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council. For your safety and peace of mind, every instructor undergoes annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits.
