Overview

Since opening in 1994, AA Driving Academy has had one clear mission: to teach safe, responsible, and accountable driving. To date, we have successfully trained, licensed, and improved the driving skills of over 70,000 graduates. We offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to your needs. Our program focuses on collision-free, defensive driving techniques paired with essential classroom theory. This balanced approach gives students a strong foundation and a thorough understanding of traffic laws and road safety. We provide behind-the-wheel training, driver improvement courses, reckless and aggressive driving classes, standard driver education, and re-examination preparation. Many of our instructors are active and retired police officers with extensive experience in traffic enforcement, emergency driving, collision investigation, and traffic court proceedings. Every instructor is a college graduate who has completed specialized collegiate-level training in driver education and received professional teaching training. All instructors are licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and certified by the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council. For your peace of mind, each instructor undergoes annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record reviews. AA Driving Academy is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
