AA Driving Academy

Since 1994, AA Driving Academy has had one clear mission: to teach safe, responsible, and accountable driving. Over the years, we’ve trained, licensed, and sharpened the skills of more than 70,000 student drivers who have graduated from our program. We provide a range of services to meet your driving needs. Our specialty is collision-free, defensive driving techniques, reinforced by a solid foundation of classroom theory. This combination gives students a deep understanding of the road, traffic laws, and regulations. Our offerings include behind-the-wheel training, driver improvement courses, reckless/aggressive driving courses, driver education, and re-examination preparation. Many of our instructors are active or retired police officers with extensive experience in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving methods, collision investigation, and traffic court proceedings. Every instructor brings years of driving instruction experience, professional training, and a college education. They have completed specialized college-level training in driver education and are licensed Driver Training Instructors by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. They’re also certified by the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council. To ensure the highest standards, all instructors undergo annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits. AA Driving Academy is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
