Independent Driving School

Independent Driving School is a fully accredited, insured, licensed, and bonded driver education school based in Utah County. We’re committed to providing the highest-quality driver education at the most affordable rates. Our services include a home study program, driving-only lessons, and state road testing, and every course holds a driver education endorsement from the State of Utah. We currently have a 4.6-star rating on Google — one of the highest in the state. What truly sets us apart is our dedication to our students. We offer free pick-up and drop-off for anyone enrolled in a home study or private instruction course. Every moment with our students is spent thoughtfully preparing them not only for their road test, but also for real-world driving scenarios that may not appear on the exam. Our friendly staff works hard to create the most comfortable learning experience possible, taking the stress out of the process and building an easygoing, safe, and caring environment. All of our instructors are trained in accident prevention, can take control of the vehicle from the passenger seat if necessary, and are certified in first aid and CPR. The cars in our fleet all have 4- and 5-star crash test ratings, are cleaned and maintained regularly, and are equipped with a passenger-side brake for added safety.
