Carlton Driving School

Carlton Driving School is locally owned and operated in Lufkin, Texas. We contract with several area school districts, but students from any school or homeschool are welcome to attend our classes. Our goal is to provide the finest quality driver education available anywhere, at a price any family can afford. We care about the safety and well-being of children, their families, and the public. Our instructors are career public school teachers or principals, licensed and regulated by the State of Texas through the Texas Education Agency and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Each has completed additional college credit hours in driver education to become a driver education instructor. Most have also driven school buses for their district. We meet annual state continuing education requirements for driver education through the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
