Monroy Driving School provides state-approved driver education for teens and adults, including written exams and official road tests. We offer flexible training options to fit your schedule, such as parent-taught and self-study courses, instructor-led behind-the-wheel lessons, and defensive driving programs. Our step-by-step curriculum covers classroom instruction, in-car practice, and the final driving exam. This is the official DPS road test required to remove the “B” restriction from your driver’s license. Adult Driver's Education
State requirement for adults ages 18-24. 6 hours of in-class instructions. Learn about the rules of the road in Texas. Take your written exam immediately after the course. Driver Education Certificate ADE-964. Price only for Saturday Class.

Teen Driver Education: 32 hours of interactive in-class instructions with
Alcohol and drug abuse awareness. Teens will be eligible to receive their driving permit (learner’s license). Driver Education Certificate DE-964 (D.P.S will issue a Driving Permit). Classroom credits will be transferred to a parent with a valid TX Driver’s License to complete driving lessons. Student will be eligible for a road test after holding a driving permit for a minimum of 6 months & be at least 16 years old. Road Test available at an additional fee.

Road Test TEEN: 1.-A parent/legal guardian who completed the 30
which ever comes first. 3.-DPS DE-964 Teen Driver’s License Certificate signed (in BLACK INK) by the parent who completed the 30 hour log. 4.-Impact Texas Teen Driver’s Certificate *(I.T.T.D.) 5.-Your vehicle that pass the DPS requirements. After Check out you will get a confirmation via email to ensure that you will meet these requirements. PS. We also offer a company vehicle to pass your Driving Exam for a minimal extra fee OF $38.00. NO REFUNDS. Optionally you may call and register over the phone to make your appointment and pay the use of the school car! *I.T.T.D. is a 2 hour long FREE video course regarding distractions that you MUST watch before the Road Test. *You need a valid email address to receive the certificate of completion.

Defensive Driving
Our defensive driving course is specifically designed for those who need to complete a court ordered defensive safety course (Defensive Driving). You may also take the driving safety course to reduce your auto insurance premium*. This course is for licensed drivers only.
