Overview

Apex Driving Academy is a high-performance driving school based at MotorSport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. Every lesson is designed to sharpen your driving skills while making safety the top priority — the techniques you practice on the track directly improve your daily driving. Our programs are thorough and hands-on, combining classroom instruction with focused drills, braking and slalom exercises, paced lead‑follow orientation laps, and one‑on‑one coaching from our expert instructor team. While aspiring racers gain a lot from our courses, our curriculum goes well beyond a typical racing school. We offer learning options in our vehicles or yours, with custom programs for corporations, young drivers, law enforcement, car clubs, and our popular Bring Your Own Car experience.

  • Private Instruction

If you can't attend our regular weekend events, or prefer a more targeted learning environment, we offer one-on-one private instruction on selected weekday and weekend dates. Contact us for available dates and details.

  • Instructor Training

While the majority of our instructors have many years of experience either racing and/or with other high performance driving organisations, we prefer to grow our instructor team from our own ranks. We are always looking for potential candidates from our Advanced group who would make good instructors, and we maintain an ongoing instructor training program which includes dedicated Intructor Clinic events

  • Club Programs

Apex would like to help you get your car club on track. Let us know your preferred timeframe and we can work with you to make this happen.
