Overview

Despite its wide-open landscapes and rich history, Texas has long lacked world-class gravel roads, making it difficult for rally racing to find a permanent home here. Rally Ready founder Dave Carapetyan set out to change that. After discovering his passion for the sport, he began traveling across the country in 2004 to compete and study the elements that make rally racing so exceptional. After every event, the team shared a clear goal: to bring a dedicated rally facility to Texas. So, we built it. We hosted our first classes in the spring of 2012. By June 2015, Rally Ready moved into its permanent location, the Rally Ranch. Located on 140 acres just 15 minutes east of the Circuit of the Americas, the property is now the hub for Texas rally racing. The facility offers everything from wide, open pastures perfect for beginner instruction to narrow, tree-lined stages featuring jumps, crests, and blind corners. Every course is designed specifically to deliver a professional-grade experience for rally enthusiasts. Maintaining the main 25 acres of our property requires meticulous, ongoing care. While paved circuits only need occasional repairs, a gravel track must be constantly graded, bladed, raked, packed, and rolled to stay race-ready. Dirt and debris scatter quickly, making regular upkeep essential to track performance and vehicle safety. We also run a water truck continuously for dust suppression, keeping the air clear and breathable so you can focus on the drive and return home ready to share the experience.

  • Half Day Rally Clinic

    Dive into our half day rally school, a full 4 hours of heart-pounding, arm-jelloing fun in our Rally Ready cars. The most fun you can have in an afternoon! Choose from morning (9AM-1PM) or afternoon (2PM-6PM). You'll receive an email the week of your class with details on exactly where to be and when.

  • 1 Day Rally School

    OUR 1 DAY PROGRAM COVERS -Left-foot braking fundamentals traction sensing, threshold braking, basic cornering. -Proper hand position -Rally vision -Aquarium Technique -Rally weight transfer techniques LESSONS / FORMAT -Classroom introduction to rallying, share your experience and goals so we can tailor the program to suit. -Classroom vehicle dynamics and rally driving instruction -Straight line braking traction sensing and threshold braking -Skidpad exercise. Finding, reducing and eliminating understeer. -Figure 8 Weight transfer, corner exit and corner entry. -Static slalom

  • 2 Day Rally School

    Day 2 takes everything you learn in day 1 and adds high speed, finite weight transfer on a dynamic slalom. We finish the day with introduction and mastery of the pendulum turn or Scandinavian Flick. No, seriously, you can learn to Scandinavian Flick in two days! WHAT YOU'LL LEARN -Advanced left-foot braking -High speed corner entry -Advanced weight transfer -Fancy footwork Scandinavian Flick -Rally line -Driving what you see LESSONS / FORMAT -Classroom recap of day 1, intro to day 2 -Static Slalom -High speed and dynamic slalom -Infield Rallycross stage. Pick up the speed, add in dynamic, multi-apex corners. -Classroom pendulum turn preparation -Pendulum turn / Scandinavian Flick exercise. -Pond Loop rally stage hot laps! Link it all together over the crests, dips, bumps, and yumps on our pond loop rally stage.

  • 3 Day Rally School

    Two words SEAT TIME. Day 3 is all about muscle memory. Take what you've learned and drill it home. Build more speed, make smaller corrections, dial in your inputs. Day 3 is when it really gels and you'll find yourself habitually doing things you couldn't dream of two days before.
