Overview

At ADAPT & ABC Defensive Driving School, our instructors are professionally trained, highly dedicated, and include Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors. Every staff member is licensed by the State of Texas to teach the classes they lead. We are licensed and regulated by the Texas Education Agency, the Texas Department of State Health Services, and the Professional Certification and Licensing Unit – Offender Education. Two powerful motivators drive personal change: knowledge and the understanding of consequences. When someone truly grasps what’s at stake, they’re far more likely to adjust their behavior. In fact, studies show that court-ordered offender education courses lead to lower repeat offense rates compared to skipping the class entirely. That’s why one of our primary goals is to make these classes available to as many people as possible. Our commitment to accessibility, convenient locations, flexible scheduling, and open availability helps us reach that goal and serve our community effectively.

Training Programs

  • ABC Defensive Driving

    If your Court has required you to obtain and submit your Type 3A Driver Record from the Department of Public Safety, you may order it at the DPS website for $12.00 by clicking here. You can elect to either print the Driver Record immediately, or request to have it mailed to you. If you would like our assistance in obtaining your Driver Record, just let us know when you come to class.

  • DWI Education Program

    12-hour class, offered in three 4-hour sessions (Wednesday – Friday). — 2019 Schedule. Total fee is $95. Pay with Cash, Credit, Debit or PayPal. Picture ID is required for attendance. A Certificate is issued upon successful completion of the program.

  • Drug Offender Education Program

    15-hour class, offered in five 3-hour sessions (Monday – Friday) — 2019 Schedule. Total fee is $100. Pay with Cash, Credit, Debit or PayPal. Picture ID is required for attendance. A Certificate is issued upon successful completion of the program.

  • DWI Repeat Offender Intervention Program

    32-hour program Eighteen sessions Mon/Tues or Sat/Sun for 9 weeks). — 2019 Schedule. Total fee is $275. A down payment of $100 is required for registration.. Pay with Cash, Credit, Debit or PayPal. Picture ID is required for attendance. A Certificate is issued upon successful completion of the program.
