Wilco Driving School

Richard and Lisa Lusby bring decades of experience to driver education. Both hold master’s degrees in education and have owned and managed driving schools, developed and presented curriculum, and trained instructors. Richard has also served as a state auditor for driving schools and worked as a coach and teacher in Fort Bend ISD near Houston. Lisa began her career in 1990, focusing on special populations and school administration. Together, they have more than 45 years of combined experience teaching local teenagers and adults to drive safely.

Coach Pete Inocencio joined the team in 2018, adding another 10 years of excellence in driver training. Pete’s background includes work as a bus driver and firefighter, but his driving instruction journey began over a decade ago when he completed his certification program with Richard Lusby in Houston. He has long held a Teaching Assistant–Full Driver Education certification and recently earned his Third Party Testing Examiner’s license. After working at Lake Travis Driving Academy, Pete chose to work alongside Mr. Lusby at Wilco, continuing a tradition of high-quality training for students throughout the Austin area, where he lives with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
