The BRC - Basic Rider Course is a two day course intended for those with little or no riding experience, or for any rider who has missed the opportunity to take formal motorcycle rider education. The BRC has approximately 4 hours of classroom time which includes risk awareness, protective gear, motorcycle controls, riding skills, and street strategies activities. The outdoor range exercises make up approximately 10 hours of time, which are conducted on OUR training motorcycles (all 250cc or smaller) in a controlled environment, where students get hands-on experience and personal, professional coaching. Total instructional time is around 14 hours and includes a skill evaluation at the end of the course. Students meeting evaluation standards receive a completion card, which is a requirement to get your motorcycle endorsement.

This course is for experienced riders only and each rider
This course is for experienced riders only and each rider must pass an entry exercise. The entry exercise consists of being able to start, shift, and stop smoothly. After the stop, the student must be able to make a 90 degree turn. If you are unsuccessful on the entry exercise or don’t feel you are ready for this, then the Basic Rider Course is the one for you. This is an Intermediate Skills Course and it is assumed you have already mastered the basic skills of riding your motorcycle. You will work on throttle control, brake control, vision, line selection, low-speed turning, evasive maneuvers, road-speed turning, and fear control.

Basic Bike Bonding Rider Course
The MSF Basic Bike Bonding Rider Course (BBBRC) has no classroom and is a partial day riding course designed to provide a low risk, effective, and enjoyable training event for participants just starting their riding endeavors. The course is typically only four to five hours of riding with breaks. The overall aim of the BBBRC is to help riders develop smooth and precise control as they manipulate primary motorcycle controls and develop their riding procedures and techniques. This course may get a discount on your insurance and help dismiss a speeding ticket received while on your motorcycle.
