Jenny and Allen Dailey bring more than 55 combined years of public service and law enforcement experience to Sumter County. Before retiring, Jenny served as a Deputy Sheriff for over 25 years. Her career took her through a variety of roles, eventually leading to her certification as an instructor at the SC Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia, where she is one of only a few female driving instructors. Jenny holds a BA in Criminal Justice with a minor in Homeland Security. Throughout her career, she saw firsthand how a lack of knowledge or simple carelessness behind the wheel can cause lasting heartache for families. That experience inspired her to open this driving school. Teaching has always been her passion, and she is committed to educating new drivers to help save lives and protect future generations. Allen has dedicated over 30 years to law enforcement in Sumter County, where he currently serves as the Major of Administration. He also works as an adjunct professor at USC-Sumter. After nine years of service in the U.S. Air Force, Allen arrived in Sumter in 1977 and quickly built his career in local public safety. He is a graduate and certified instructor of the SC Criminal Justice Academy, and he spent many years teaching the D.A.R.E. program in Sumter District 2 elementary schools. Allen holds a BA in Criminology and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. Like Jenny, he is deeply passionate about teaching new drivers the heavy responsibilities and potential hazards that come with operating a motor vehicle. Together, they are turning decades of experience into a safer, more informed generation of drivers.
