Overview
I’m John Schumpert, owner and lead instructor at The Ultimate Driving School. I have spent 16 years teaching driver’s education, building on a 19-year career as a teacher and coach in South Carolina public schools. After serving two years as Athletic Director at Liberty High School, I decided to turn my long-held goal of starting my own driving school into reality at the end of the 2016 academic year. The Ultimate Driving School officially opened in November 2016. I currently teach at Westside High School in Anderson and continue offering driver’s education classes after school and on weekends. My mission is simple: to equip students with essential safe driving skills and help make South Carolina roads safer for you and your loved ones.
