Founded in 1961 by “Moe” Sherid, Sherid’s Driving School is a family-owned and operated business. After a 26-year career with the Pennsylvania State Police, John Sherid followed in his father’s footsteps to continue the family legacy, teaching student drivers throughout Westmoreland County. John genuinely enjoys his time with each class, and our team takes pride in safely preparing new drivers for the road. With more than 55 years of trusted service, we remain an active member of the Pennsylvania Association of Professional Driving Schools (PAPDS). Our instructors regularly attend professional seminars to stay current on traffic safety standards and the everyday challenges today’s new drivers face.
