Overview
We were founded in June 2012 by Doug Edwards, our President and CEO. With over 37 years in the transportation industry, Doug has dedicated 20 of those years to truck driver training and academics. He has provided on-the-road instruction to CDL drivers and has served as a training manager or director for both public and private truck driving schools.
We began partnering with Washington County Career Center in 2012 and soon expanded to include Belmont College and Daymar College. In 2015, we became a self-licensed academy. Today, we train more than 300 students each year, and we continue to grow.
We offer a 4‑week or 8‑weekend CDL program. All students complete a DOT‑certified physical and drug screening and must be able to understand written and spoken English. Our program combines high‑level classroom instruction with hands‑on maneuverability training in a professionally certified, safe environment.
We reach prospective students by attending local job fairs, working with Job and Family Services, and running community‑based marketing campaigns.
