Overview

On the Road Again Motorcycle School Our mission is to train the most knowledgeable, skilled riders on the road. Since 1993, we’ve been a motorcycle-specific driving school licensed by the NYS DMV and certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. We offer private lessons and DMV road test services year-round, weather permitting, and our Basic RiderCourse runs from April through November. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced rider looking to sharpen your skills or earn your motorcycle endorsement, we’re here to help.

  • MSF Basic RiderCourse (with license waiver) for Novice Riders

    Successful completion of this course will allow you to skip the DMV road test to obtain your motorcycle endorsement. A motorcycle & helmet are provided. You may bring your own DOT approved helmet. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COURSE! IF YOU ENROLL IN THIS COURSE WITHOUT A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN! You do not need to have your motorcycle permit to participate in this course, however once you complete the course DMV will require that you obtain it before they will add the motorcycle endorsement to your Drivers License.

  • BRC2LW

    Successful completion of this course will allow you to skip the DMV road test to obtain your motorcycle endorsement. This course is for experienced riders only – 18 years and older – Junior License holders not eligible. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN STREET LEGAL MOTORCYCELE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COURSE! YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE & MOTORCYCLE PERMIT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COURSE! IF YOU ENROLL IN THIS COURSE WITHOUT A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND MOTORCYCLE PERMIT NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN! This course is an 8-hour course that contains a unique online classroom segment as a pre-requisite and also offers a variety of practice riding exercises designed to develop your riding skills on YOUR OWN motorcycle further. The riding exercises conclude with a skills test. For a participant to earn their NYSMSP BRC2-LW License Waiver Completion Card, they must successfully complete the eCourse (on-line) and the skills evaluation on the range.

  • BRC2 Skills Practice

    This course is designed for riders who have a permit and possess necessary skills. It consists of only riding exercises and does not include classroom-type instruction. It is a perfect way for you to reinforce essential skill on your motorcycle. A skill test is an option and may be provided as a self-assessment opportunity. Using your motorcycle, you’ll put into practice the techniques of managing traction, stopping quickly, cornering and swerving.

  • Ultimate Bike Bonding

    The MSF Ultimate Bike Bonding RiderCourse (UBBRC) is a partial day course designed to provide a low risk, effective, and enjoyable training event for participants who have riding experience. This course emphasizes techniques used in low-speed handling. The goal is to “bond” with the motorcycle, automating the manipulation of the controls so that more mental energy can be used for managing traffic situations. Participants must be licensed and use their personal (or borrowed, with permission), safe and street-legal motorcycle.
