Vision Driving School

Driving safely is about protecting your life and the lives of everyone on the road. We focus on defensive driving and help you learn quickly and confidently using our proven 9-Vision technique. Our mission is deeply personal. As a survivor of the September 11 attacks, I spent years working in IT, life safety, and security consulting. In the years that followed, I navigated survivor’s guilt and felt a strong need to turn that experience into something meaningful for my community. After two years of reflection, I researched the leading causes of preventable death in the United States and found that traffic fatalities were at the top. That realization led me to become a driving instructor, dedicated to teaching safe, defensive driving habits so students can protect themselves and others. My approach uses simple, easy-to-remember visual cues that make complex road skills straightforward to learn. I also discovered that most new drivers struggle with parallel parking, which inspired me to develop a specialized method that consistently turns a stressful maneuver into a routine skill. Over the years, I have guided countless students to success, and every single one has agreed that parallel parking becomes remarkably easy with the right instruction. Exactly five years after 9/11, on September 11, 2006, I received the license to open my own school. I named it Vision Driving School for two reasons. First, safe driving is fundamentally about clear sightlines and awareness. Second, every student who comes to us has a vision for their future, whether that means driving to college, commuting to work, or simply gaining independence. I am here to help each driver safely reach those goals. My vision is to equip as many drivers as possible with the skills and awareness to protect themselves and others. Together, we can help make American roads safer for everyone.
