Urbanek’s Driving School

Dave Urbanek is the owner and lead instructor at Urbanek’s Driving School. He has operated the business since 1982, bringing decades of dedicated teaching and safe driving instruction to the community. Before founding his school, Dave taught health and physical education full-time from 1978 to 1984 in the Central Bucks and Centennial school districts. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University, with a minor in Driver Education and Officiating. He also completed graduate coursework at Penn State University toward a Master’s degree in the field. A Pennsylvania Department of Education-certified driver education instructor for 40 years, Dave maintains up-to-date background checks and child protection clearances as required by the state. Outside of his professional work, he has been married for 41 years and is the proud father of three daughters and three grandchildren.
