Bells Driving School

Thank you for visiting Bells Driving School. I’m Ed Belfi, the owner. Over the years, my team and I have safely instructed thousands of students, and we take our profession seriously. While many programs cover the basics, we go further. Using modern vehicles with top safety ratings, we teach defensive driving skills that exceed New Jersey’s minimum requirements. Our lessons focus on building confidence, improving visual awareness, and maintaining safe following distances. We know state regulations can be confusing, so we provide parents with a clear, age-specific breakdown of the rules every new driver must follow. Above all, we emphasize that an attentive, responsible driver is your most important safety feature—far beyond airbags or seat belts. We offer flexible day, evening, and weekend lessons for drivers of all ages. We can pick you up at your home, school, or workplace, or meet you directly at the Motor Vehicle Commission. All our instructors work with local school districts, are fully approved by the State of New Jersey, and pass comprehensive background checks. We also maintain active membership in the Driving School Association of New Jersey. Our goal is simple: to develop safe, confident drivers for life.
