Plaza Auto Driving School

Founded by Tim Ogut in 1957, The Plaza Auto Driving School has been serving the Town of Monroe since 1962. Today, it is owned and operated by Charles La Verdi, a licensed driving instructor since the 1980s. He has trained students to safely operate motorcycles, passenger cars, and commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers. His expertise has been cited in publications such as The Times Herald Record, Straus News, and The Chronicle. We provide professional automobile driving instruction in late-model, dual-controlled vehicles. All of our cars are equipped with dual brakes and fully insured in compliance with New York State and DMV regulations. Our licensed instructors are trained professionals dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and integrity.
