Overview
Crossroads Driving School opened on February 28, 2005, founded by Linda Jones. After 15 years as a school bus driver, Linda felt stuck—she wasn’t moving forward in her career. Her son was also nearing driving age, and she wanted to be her own boss and make the decisions herself. When she called the motor vehicle department about her plans, they told her she first needed two years of experience working for another driving school. So that’s what she did: she took a job at another school while continuing to drive a bus. Once those two years were up, Linda wasted no time. She left the other driving school on a Friday and opened Crossroads Driving School the following Monday—and she hasn’t slowed down since.
