Guilford Driving School

For over 50 years, we have been dedicated to teaching new drivers how to navigate the road safely and confidently. Our state-certified and licensed team is led by Charlie Brown—known to everyone as “Coach Brown”—a former North Carolina public school teacher and football coach. Every one of our instructors is a current or former NC certified public school educator with a genuine passion for teaching. If you are working toward your first driver’s license, we will help you build the essential skills and safe habits needed to pass the NC DMV road test. You can schedule as much or as little behind-the-wheel practice as you need to feel completely prepared. When you are ready, we will drive you to the DMV and provide a vehicle for your official test.
