Jordan Driving School of the Carolinas has been helping new drivers build confidence for more than 25 years. We are a family-owned and operated business serving greater eastern North Carolina, including the Triangle, with a full-time team of professional instructors. Whether you're looking for private lessons or a public school program, we offer both classroom education and hands-on behind-the-wheel training. Every course is designed to give you the skills you need to drive safely and pass your exams with ease. We currently contract with eight North Carolina school districts, providing driver education to over 10,000 students in Bladen, Chapel Hill–Carrboro, Craven, Franklin, Lenoir, Nash, Person, and Vance Counties. Our long-standing commitment to high standards has made us a trusted partner in both the public and private sectors. Our instructors come from three pathways: Department of Public Instruction certified driver education instructors, certified teachers who complete the 80-hour DMV-certified instructor course, and professional or non-certified teachers who also complete the 80-hour DMV course. With 40 instructors on our team, most of our classroom educators are state-certified teachers. Every instructor is required to be a member of the North Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (NCDTSEA) and the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (ADTSEA). Our main office is in Vanceboro, with a secondary location in Rocky Mount, and we serve most of eastern North Carolina and the Triangle area. Leading the school is President & CEO Eddie B. Jordan, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from East Carolina University and a Master's in Administrative Education from Campbell University. With more than 25 years of experience teaching driver education in North Carolina, Mr. Jordan is also a member of NCDTSEA and ADTSEA.
