A registered occupational therapist with state certification as a driver instructor and specialized training in driver rehabilitation conducts a clinical evaluation at your home to assess your physical, visual, cognitive, and perceptual strengths and limitations as they relate to driving. This is followed by a behind-the-wheel assessment in your familiar environment to determine how well you can combine these skills to drive safely. For clients who would benefit, we provide personalized driver training that addresses specific needs and covers every aspect of safe operation. We also supply vehicles equipped with adaptive equipment. If your personal vehicle requires modifications, our therapist will direct the process and consult directly with qualified vendors to ensure a safe, customized fit.
