Overview

In the fall of 2008, we set out to build a stronger driver education program for teens and adults. It’s alarming that driver’s ed has barely changed in 20 years—this isn’t just a box to check anymore. A solid grasp of driving technique, traction laws, and the rules and responsibilities of the road is essential to lowering risk. We choose the best camps, schools, and colleges for our children because we want them to get the most from those experiences. The same care should go into choosing where they learn to drive—the quality of that education directly shapes how safe they’ll be behind the wheel. Success on the road means they come home every night safe and sound. At EDI, we don’t just claim to have the best program—we deliver it with top-tier facilities, training vehicles, and instructors, plus a retention rate that proves our approach works, all because we go beyond state standards.

  • 6 Hours Behind the Wheel

    This is package is designed for adults who want some extra time to build more confidence and understanding of the rules of the road. This is broken down into three 2-hour sessions. We offer pickup and drop-off at home, school or work for a charge of $10 p/lesson. This is paid at the time of the lesson. If you can meet the instructor at our office for your lesson there is no charge.

  • 2 Hour Driving Lesson

    This is usually a good place to start if you are not sure how much training you will need. If you want more driving lessons after the initial one we would just need payment (no need to register). We offer pickup and drop-off at home, school or work for a charge of $10 p/lesson. This is paid at the time of the lesson. If you can meet the instructor at our office for your lesson there is no charge.

  • Road Test Prep

    This is a one hour driving lesson where students are tested on all key aspects of driving. This assessment is far more thorough then the State Road Test and should give you an accurate picture of your current driving skills.

  • Lease Training Car for Road Test

    This includes a home pickup (within the city limits of Rochester), 40 minutes of training before the test, use of the car for your test and a ride home if needed. (2-hour maximum time). Please email us ahead of time to make sure we have a car available for your road test. Once that has been confirmed, click the register button to sign up. We are not able to schedule you for this until payment has been received.
