Overview
At our Farmington Hills location, Lee Driving School has been shaping safe drivers since 1968. Founder Lee Alpern started the school after more than 30 years as a high school teacher in Redford—the thousands of confident drivers he trained are a testament to that experience.
Today, the family tradition continues with a second generation. Sheryl Alpern returned to Michigan in 2001 and brought a strong background in sales, plus firsthand insight from her work at the Secretary of State—including time as a road tester. She now leads the school, carrying forward a hands-on, defensive-driving approach. Ann Alpern, who joined the team in 1975, has spent decades successfully teaching both adults and teenagers.
