Courtesy Driving School has been family-owned and operated since 1970, and we’ve spent over 40 years helping students become confident, safe drivers. As a leader in driver education, our mission is to deliver thorough instruction through a professionally developed curriculum. We teach the rules of the road alongside personal, hands-on skill training to ensure every student is prepared. Our instructors are certified by the State of Michigan, pass FBI background checks and physical exams, and bring a caring, professional approach to every lesson. They give each student the individual attention and confidence needed to develop safe driving habits. We’re dedicated to making your driver education experience positive, supportive, and successful.

Training Programs

Segment I for Teens
Segment I includes 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours behind the wheel, and 4 hours observation in a dual controlled automobile.
Segment II for Teens
Segment II includes 6 hours of classroom instruction. This session focuses on defensive driving and preparation for the road test.
Road Testing
Courtesy Driving School offers automobile and motorcycle road testing. The automobile driving skills test will consist of two parts - a basic control skills test and an on-road driving test.
Adult & Teen Private Lessons
Our private lessons specialize in teaching nervous adults and teens who hold a current permit.
