For more than five decades, we have dedicated ourselves to preparing the next generation of drivers through a professionally developed, comprehensive curriculum. Our mission is to thoroughly teach the rules of the road while providing personalized, hands-on training that builds essential driving skills.
At Courtesy Driving School, we carefully select our instructors to ensure the highest standard of education. Every teacher is certified in driver education by the State of Michigan and completes FBI background checks and physical exams. Our instructors are experienced, caring professionals who give each student the focused attention needed to build confidence and develop safe driving habits. We are committed to ensuring every student succeeds and enjoys a positive, supportive learning experience.

Training Programs

Segment I for Teens
Segment I includes 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours behind the wheel, and 4 hours observation in a dual controlled automobile.
Segment II for Teens
Segment II includes 6 hours of classroom instruction. This session focuses on defensive driving and preparation for the road test.
Road Testing
Courtesy Driving School offers automobile and motorcycle road testing. The automobile driving skills test will consist of two parts - a basic control skills test and an on-road driving test.
Adult & Teen Private Lessons
Our private lessons specialize in teaching nervous adults and teens who hold a current permit.
