Overview

At Shondhan Driving School and Road Test, we’re committed to providing you with the most efficient, educational traffic safety courses and driving lessons possible. Our friendly road test examiners are also highly qualified driving instructors in Hamtramck, MI. They offer year-round walk-in road tests, seven days a week, for cars, motorcycles, and CDL. We conduct all driver training classes in full compliance with state laws under the authority of the Michigan Department of State, Driver Programs Division. Our friendly, licensed, and certified driver education trainers have their driving records on file for public inspection by appointment. Every instructor and examiner participates in regular continuing education to stay up-to-date with changes in state law. We currently provide driver training classes and road tests for teens and adults in Hamtramck and Warren.

  • Walk-In Road Test

    We are one of the very few places to offer 7 day a week walk-in road test. No prior appointment required. Road tests offered for Cars and Motorcycle (April to October). Vehicle rentals available. All our road test examiners are driving instructors. So if you’re learning driving with us, you will be most likely trained by a State Certified Road Test Examiners. Also – all our road test examiners are multi-lingual. Isn’t that really cool????

  • Driver Education Segment 1

    24 hours class room instruction, (3 weeks, 4 days, a week and 2 hours a day), 6 hours behind-the-wheel instruction (1 hour a day for 6 days), 4 hours of observation time in a training vehicle. (1 or 2 hours a day)

  • Driver Education Segment 2

    To enroll in Segment 2, your teen must have held a valid Level 1 License for not less than three continuous months (90 days). The Department of state requires that your teen must log at least 30 hours of supervised driving, including two hours at night, with licensed parent, guardian or designated licensed adult age 21 or older before entering Segment 2. Segment-II class consists of Total of 6 hours of classroom instructions. (3 days and 2 hours a day)
