Overview
Hamilton’s Driving School was founded by Bruce Hamilton in Kennebunk in 2004. After earning his college degree, his son Joe joined the family business, and together they opened a second location in Saco in 2010. Today, we’re the busiest driving school in both communities, having proudly taught hundreds of students throughout Southern Maine.
We believe our success comes down to a few key things. First, we give every student a thorough driving education: vehicle control, rules of the road, parallel parking, straight-line backing—we don’t skip a thing. Just as important, we create an environment where students feel comfortable and actually enjoy the experience. When that happens, they learn more. In fact, our goal is for students to be a little disappointed when driver’s ed ends because they had such a good time.

Training Programs

Refresher/Road Test Prep
This lesson takes about an hour. We meet at the BMV. We prefer to take the student out in the vehicle that they will be using on their drivers test. We will have them parallel park, straight line back, lane change and see how they are doing over all. This lesson doesn’t in any way guarantee that the student will pass, however this lesson will greatly help with their preparation.
