Hi, I'm Ron. You've come to the right place to learn to drive. We are professionally trained, State of Maine certified instructors who teach both commercial trucks and automobiles. Our curriculum is engaging, interactive, and modular, built on the latest industry research. Classes take place in a state-of-the-art classroom with a maximum of 22 students. When you want a driving instructor you can trust to do the job right, Ron Vance is the name to rely on. I've lived in Saco with my wife and son since 1990. I've been teaching automobile driving and CDL Class A and Class B truck driving for over 30 years. In 1986, my wife Suzanne and I owned and operated Best-Way Driving School in the Biddeford-Saco area, with locations at BHS, TA, Wells High School, Scarborough, and South Portland. In 2005, I worked for Prodrive Truck Training School and Westbrook Vocational Truck Training Center. Then in 2008, I joined Concord Coach bus company, which allowed me to earn my bus and school bus licenses. Driving a large vehicle from Portland to Boston four times a day gave me a firsthand look at just how many crazy drivers are on the roads today. That experience is what led me back to teaching people to drive safely. Some people ask, "Why would Ron go back into driver training?" The answer is simple: it's rewarding. That's why I opened GoDriving.co in March 2011, right here in the Saco area. Our school also trains driver education instructors throughout Maine. We offer commercial truck driving instruction for both Class A and Class B licenses.
