Academy of Driving Excellence

Welcome to the Academy of Driving Excellence (ADE). Our thorough, in‑depth classroom activities and behind‑the‑wheel instruction prepare young drivers to be safe, responsible, and confident. Most driving lessons take place right here in Augusta, so students practice on the very streets they’ll use during their teen years. Courses are typically held at Hall‑Dale High School and Winthrop High School, with a virtual component through Zoom and Google Classroom. We also offer private lessons for anyone with a permit or license who would like extra instruction or a refresher. Tanya Hunt has spent more than 30 years teaching teenagers. She’s known for her caring commitment to helping each student reach their goals. Her teaching skills, preparation, organization, knowledge, and classroom management give future drivers in the greater Augusta area the strong foundation they need.
