Drive On Time Driving School

Drive On Time Driving School is licensed and approved by the Maryland MVA. Founded in 2008 by John Wright, our program was created out of a genuine passion for driving and a commitment to helping young people master this essential skill. We believe that while driving is vital for independence and success, it is also a serious responsibility. Developing safe habits behind the wheel protects our students and keeps our communities safe.

We provide both in-person and virtual classroom courses to fulfill the Maryland MVA’s 30-hour requirement. Our behind-the-wheel lessons emphasize calm, patient instruction to help students comfortably meet the state’s 6-hour requirement and confidently complete their driver’s education.

Beyond standard coursework, we offer extra behind-the-wheel practice hours and provide vehicles for your MVA skills test. We also host the Driver Improvement Program, Young Driver Improvement Program, and 3-hour alcohol education classes. For teaching professionals, we offer advanced training for new instructor apprentices and continuing education for licensed driving instructors.
