Overview

Safe, responsible driving has been our mission since AA Driving Academy opened in 1994. We've trained and licensed over 70,000 graduates, helping them become safer, more accountable drivers. We offer a full range of services to meet your driving needs, specializing in collision-free, defensive driving techniques. Our program pairs behind-the-wheel training with solid classroom theory to build a deep understanding of traffic laws, road rules, and regulations. Services include driver improvement courses, reckless/aggressive driving courses, driver education, and re-examination prep. Our instructor team includes active and retired police officers with years of experience in traffic enforcement, emergency driving, collision investigation, and court proceedings. Every instructor is a college graduate with specialized collegiate-level training in driver education, years of instructional experience, and professional teaching credentials. They are licensed by the Virginia DMV, certified by AAA and the National Safety Council, and undergo annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits. Our school is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
