AA Driving Academy

Since 1994, AA Driving Academy has been dedicated to teaching safe, responsible, and accountable driving. Over the years, we’ve trained, licensed, and helped improve the skills of more than 70,000 students who have graduated from our academy. We offer a full range of services to meet your driving needs, with a special focus on collision-free, defensive driving techniques. A strong foundation in classroom theory complements our behind-the-wheel training, giving students a thorough understanding of the road, its rules, and regulations. Our course lineup includes behind‑the‑wheel instruction, driver improvement, reckless/aggressive driving courses, driver education, and re‑examination prep. Some of our instructors are active or retired police officers with extensive experience in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving methods, collision investigation, and traffic court proceedings. Every instructor brings years of driving instruction experience, professional training, and a college education, including specialized collegiate‑level training in driver education. All are licensed as Driver Training Instructors by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and certified by both the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council. They also undergo annual national FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits. Our school is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
