AA Driving Academy

Since opening in 1994, AA Driving Academy has been dedicated to one goal: teaching safe, responsible, and accountable driving. To date, we have trained, licensed, and improved the driving of more than 70,000 students who have graduated from our academy. We offer a range of services to meet your driving needs. Our specialty is collision-free, defensive driving techniques paired with solid classroom theory, giving students a strong understanding of the roads, rules, and regulations. Services include behind-the-wheel training, driver improvement courses, reckless/aggressive driving programs, driver education, and re-examination courses. Our instructors bring exceptional expertise to every lesson. Some are active or retired police officers with deep experience in traffic law enforcement, emergency driving methods, collision investigation, and traffic court proceedings. Every instructor has years of driving instruction experience, professional training, and a college education, plus specialized collegiate-level training in driver education. All are licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and certified by the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council. They undergo annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits, so you can feel completely confident in their qualifications. Our school is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
