Overview

Drive On Time Driving School is fully licensed and approved by the Maryland MVA. Founded in 2008 by John Wright, our program was built on a genuine enthusiasm for the road and a commitment to helping new drivers succeed. We know that while driving is essential for personal and professional independence, it also carries a serious responsibility. Teaching safe, mindful habits protects lives and keeps our community strong. To help you meet state requirements, we offer both in-person and online classroom courses that fulfill the Maryland MVA’s 30-hour driver education mandate. For the required 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training, our instructors provide calm, patient instruction to help you build confidence and develop safe habits on the road. Beyond our core curriculum, we offer additional practice sessions and the use of our training vehicles for your MVA skills test. We also provide Driver Improvement and Young Driver Improvement classes, 3-hour alcohol education courses, and specialized training for professional drivers. Additionally, we support driving educators with advanced apprenticeship training and continuing education for currently licensed instructors.
