Dominion Driver Improvement Program

Our program builds on the driving knowledge you already have.

You will practice defensive techniques, evaluate your personal goals and habits, and review essential best practices. The course covers common driver errors, strategies for staying aware of your surroundings, and the serious consequences of impaired driving.

We also address key risk factors that particularly affect Virginia drivers, including road aggression, hazard recognition, and fatigue.

Licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, Dominion Driver Improvement offers the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course. Since 1964, this program has set the standard for driver training and is widely recognized for its success in reducing the frequency, severity, and cost of traffic collisions. Our clinic is fully DMV-approved and accepted by all Virginia courts.
