AA Driving Academy

Since 1994, AA Driving Academy has been dedicated to one goal: teaching safe, responsible, and accountable driving. We’re proud to have trained, licensed, and improved the driving skills of over 70,000 students who have graduated from our program. We offer a full range of services to support your driving needs. Our focus is on collision-free, defensive driving techniques, backed by solid classroom theory that gives students a strong understanding of road rules and regulations. Services include behind-the-wheel training, driver improvement, reckless and aggressive driving courses, driver education, and re-examination prep. Our instructors bring a rare blend of real-world experience and professional training. Some are active or retired police officers with extensive backgrounds in traffic enforcement, emergency driving, collision investigation, and traffic court. All are experienced driving instructors and college graduates who have completed specialized training in driver education. They are licensed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, certified by both the American Automobile Association and the National Safety Council, and undergo annual FBI background checks and DMV driving record audits. AA Driving Academy is fully licensed, certified, insured, and bonded.
